… La máscara parecía mirar a la muchacha con expresión malévola. Pero se trataba, tan solo, de un simple adorno étnico, tallado en madera y colgado de la pared. Había otra máscara idéntica, situada a cierta distancia de la primera. La muchacha se fijó en ellas por primera vez cuando le pidieron que se colocara de perfil. Solo hablaba la persona que estaba sentada; la otra permanecía de pie tras la silla, en silencio.
―Ahora, por favor, quítate la camisa…
